your arrival at the hotel in winter
we kindly ask you to book your transfer or luggage transfer in advance.
to get to the right place on time, we strongly recommend you use google maps and not your car’s gps.
here are your options:
on snowshoes or ski touring
if you want to climb by snowshoeing or ski touring, we’ll collect your labelled and packed luggage:
1. book your luggage transfer in advance by clicking on the e-mail confirming your booking.
2. park your vehicle in the crans-cry d’er covered car park.
3. leave your luggage in the ESS chalet (possible during ESS opening hours). departure for chetzeron: 11.00 or 15.00.
4. take the footpath indicated by the pink signs to the hotel. allow around 2 hours, as the elevation gain is 600 m.
by snowcat
1. book your transfer in advance by clicking on the e-mail confirming your booking.
2. park your vehicle in the crans-cry d’er covered car park.
3. meeting in front of the ESS chalet , please be on time.
4. climb aboard our snowcat. departure at 18.00 or 23.00.
by gondola, then on skis or on foot
1. book your luggage transfer in advance by clicking on the e-mail confirming your booking.
2. park your vehicle in the crans-cry d’er covered car park.
3. drop off your labelled and packed luggage in the ESS chalet (possible during ESS opening hours). departure for chetzeron: 11.00 or 15.00.
4. if you’re a walker, please buy your gondola lift pass at the lift ticket office. if you’re a skier, we advise you to buy your ski pass in advance at www.mycma.ch to get the best price.
5. get in our gondola and get off at the top of cry d’er (20 min by gondola).
6. follow the footpath indicated by the pink signs (20 min walk) or ski down the blue slope to the hotel.

your departure from the hotel in winter
on skis
1. drop off your luggage at the hotel reception desk. luggage departure for crans: 9.30, 11.30 or 13.30.
2. ski down the black or red slop to the parking.
3. find your luggage in the ESS chalet. luggage pick-up possible during ESS opening hours only.
on foot, then by gondola
1. drop off your luggage at the hotel reception desk. luggage departure for crans: 9.30, 11.30 or 13.30.
2. follow the footpath indicated by the pink signs to the intermediate gondola station merbé (20 min walk).
3. board the gondola and get off at the bottom station (12 min by gondola). preferential rate for the gondola ride down at the hotel reception desk.
4. find your luggage in the ESS chalet. baggage pick-up possible during ESS opening hours only.
